Ice cream is a cold, colourful dessert that can be enjoyed in all the seasons and in all the regions of Italy. From the late nineteenth century, ice cream has undergone some incredible transformations, declining, yet reinventing itself in the most diverse forms and flavours. Whether industrial or artisanal, the best, ice cream is still going strong and, from Sicily to Piedmont, is consumed the year round, even experimenting with some daring combinations, which make it always up to date and in step with the times. Un dolce freddo, colorato, da gustare in tutte le stagioni e in tutte le regioni del Belpaese: il gelato. Dalla fine dell'ottocento ad oggi il gelato ha subito incredibili trasformazioni, declinandosi e reinventandosi nelle più diverse forme e gusti. Un prodotto industriale ma soprattutto artigianale che non conosce declino e che dalla Sicilia al Piemonte, viene consumato tutto l'anno sperimentando abbinamenti anche estremi che lo rendono un alimento modernissimo e sempre attuale.
