In this episode of Trenditaly dedicated to ceramics, we visit some of the places in Italy where decorative ceramics and ceramic objects are produced. The world's most typical and well-known ceramics are handcrafted in Deruta and Vietri sul Mare, but new artists and designers are making inroads creating extraordinary objects and sculptures coveted by many. Ceramics in Italy is not only about tableware, decorative objects or jewelry, it's also an important manufacturing sector. In fact, we visit a factory in Lazio that produces and exports designer sanitary ware and washbasins, and a company in Emilia that makes and exports ultra-modern tiles produced with sustainable technologies. In questa puntata di Trenditaly dedicata alle Ceramiche visiteremo alcune delle località italiane dove si producono ceramiche decorative e oggetti in ceramica. Le ceramiche più tipiche e conosciute al mondo si producono artigianalmente a Deruta ed a Vietri sul Mare, ma si stanno facendo largo nuovi artisti e designer che creano straordinari oggetti e sculture ambiti da molti. La ceramica in Italia non è solo stoviglie, oggetti decorativi o gioielli, ma è anche un importante comparto industriale. Andremo infatti a visitare un'azienda laziale che produce ed esporta sanitari e lavabi di design, e un'azienda emiliana che realizza ed esporta modernissime piastrelle prodotte con tecnologie sostenibili.
