Italy is also a land of castles. Small, large, majestic, ruined, there are so many of them built over thousands of years, from the fortifications in the Ancient Greek-dominated areas of Magna Graecia, in southern Italy, to the medieval fortresses in northern Italy and the beautiful Renaissance castles in Tuscany. In this episode we visit a dozen castles from Sicily to Ischia, from the Castello Sforzesco in Milan to Moncalieri, while trying not to disturb the ghosts that live there. Italia, terra anche di castelli. Piccoli, grandi, maestosi, diroccati, il belpaese ne è pieno per la sua storia millenaria: dalle antiche fortificazioni di derivazione magno-greca nel Mezzogiorno a quelli medievali nel Nord Italia fino agli incanti rinascimentali in Toscana. In questa puntata ne visiteremo una decina dalla Sicilia a Ischia, da quello Sforzesco di Milano a Moncalieri, cercando di non disturbare troppo i fantasmi.
